Chamomile is contraindicated in:
Doses for the relief of diarrhea (dried flowers):
Children 2-4 years: 0.3-4 grams per day
Children and adolescents 5-9 years: 0.4-6 grams per day
Adolescents 10-14 years: 0.8-12 grams per day
Adults and adolescents 15 and over: 1.5-24 grams per day

Side effects:
- Allergies due to cross reaction with asters, ragweed, chrysanthemums. Hypersensitivity reactions consists of anaphylaxis, lacrimation , contact dermatitis, sneezing and GI upset.

- if pregnant or breastfeeding
- symptoms last longer than 1 week or reoccurring
