Patient Counselling
- Use non-medicated cleansers that are alcohol and fragrance free
- Traditional soap may cause dryness, irritation and redness, use mild soap or soap-less cleansers containing surfactants
- Do not use more than twice daily
- Do not scrub hard or excessively
- Will not prevent acne from occurring
- Soaps and cleansers remove surface dirt and oil
- Emollients and humectants ingredients may help with dryness as they may have moisturizing effects
