dong quai
Place in Therapy
Given the fair negative scientific evidence against the use of dong quai in postmenopausal women, it likely has no place in therapy before other agents have been ruled out (1,2) Patients may have a preference for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) products, which would be a good reason to recommend dong quai.
