Patient Counselling:
1) Wash hands with soap and water.
2) Keep the dropper clean – do not touch the tip of the dropper with your eye.
3) Tilt head back, gently pull down the lower eye lid to form a pocket.
4) Apply a ribbon of ointment into the pocket of the lower eyelid.
5) Blink your eye gently, and then close your eyes for one to two minutes.
6) Wipe any excess ointment gently with a clean tissue. With another clean tissue, wipe the tip of the dropper.
7) Replace the cap of the tube.
8) Wash hands with soap and water.
