· Simethicone is used to ease the pressure caused by gas and the associated symptoms in the stomach and intestine.
· It should be taken as needed four times daily (after meals and at bedtime).
· Do not exceed 500mg/day.
· Shake oral suspension well before using.
· Do not swallow chewable tablets whole.
· If a dose is missed, it should be taken as soon as it is remembered unless it is close to the next dosing time; 2 doses should never be taken at the same time.
· There are no reported side effects associated with simethicone.
· Report to the local emergency room if any wheezing, chest tightness, fever, itching, or swelling of the lips, tongue or throat occur after taking simethicone.
· Store at room temperature; do not freeze oral liquid.
